VeiraMal Consulting is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to join our clients' restaurant in Bowral. Our client, Monaco Bowral Restaurant is looking for an enthusiastic individual who can work well in a team, with strong communication skills.

Objective of The Position:

*To oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring high-quality service and a smooth dining experience.
*To manage staff, ensure customer satisfaction, and contribute to the overall positive dining experience for all restaurant clients.

Qualifications/experience:

*Proven experience in managing and overseeing restaurant operations, including staff supervision, customer service, and daily operations.
*Qualifications in Hospitality Management or related fields.
*Strong understanding of restaurant health and safety regulations.
*Excellent communication and leadership skills to manage a diverse team and ensure high customer satisfaction.

Responsible for:

Maintaining efficient management and delivery of restaurant services, including overseeing staff, managing customer satisfaction, and ensuring smooth daily operations.

Accountable to: Manager /Owner

Performance appraisal: Three months after appointment, then at least annually and/or when required.

Job Descriptions:

*Lead and direct full-time and casual staff, ensuring tasks are assigned based on skills and training while maintaining a positive work environment.
*Oversee daily operations, including functions, rosters, and system updates, reporting to the Food and Beverage Director and Director.
*Manage cash balances, bar stock, and conduct monthly stocktakes in line with financial procedures.
*Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and maintain cleanliness across all areas, including toilets and workstations.
*Drive exceptional customer service, ensuring staff meet high standards and work towards positive feedback.
*Manage wine list, encourage upselling of food and beverages, and present function packages to walk-in guests.
*Schedule and provide ongoing training for new and existing staff, ensuring compliance with training requirements.
*Ensure all staff complete legally required training, including RSA, and maintain up-to-date staff policies.
*Foster open communication within the management team, addressing complaints, product changes, and budget issues promptly.
*Monitor and control wage and beverage costs, ensuring staff compliance with award regulations and accurate timesheet completion.

Requirements:

*Lead and manage staff efficiently.

*Ensure health and safety compliance.
*Drive excellent customer service and satisfaction.
*Train staff and ensure legal training compliance.

Conduct: Employee must at all time act honestly and in a manner that is consistent with the statues of his position.

Employee must not disclose or use in any manner (except in the proper course of your employment, by compulsion of law, or on the written direction of authorized officer, unless the information is already legitimately in the public domain. The obligation extends for a period of 24 months even after the employment is terminated.

Remuneration

$75,000 - $85,000 + Super p.a for the right candidate.
