Job Title: Restaurant Manager
Salary: AUD $75,000 TO $80,000 per annum, plus 12%
Hours: Full Time Permanent (38 hours per week)

PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
Responsible for the control and management of all restaurant operations and the coordination of the staff and resources to provide an efficient and profitable customer service experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Organizing daily restaurant operations; seasonal promotions and planning special functions
Planning menus in consultation with Chefs/Cooks
Monitoring the quality of restaurant services and dishes served at all times, through assessment of customer feedback, in maintaining a high standard of operations
Monitor food preparation and health and safety practices to ensure the restaurant and staff are presentable and in compliance with company standards and regulations.
Dealing with and resolving customer complaints and assessing feedback to continuously work on improving service
Greeting customers, and assisting in taking orders from time to time, to offer a high level of customer service
Working closely with the Director to set up the sales forecast and reviewing and monitoring expenditure according to budget limitations
Organizing the daily and weekly rosters for staff
Managing recruitment processes such as selecting staff, carrying out and organizing training as required and supervising staff to ensure compliance with company standards
Maintaining stock levels and ensure financial transactions are managed smoothly and accurately
Undertaking daily and monthly banking and budget reports
Qualifications and Skills:
Minimum qualification required is Australian Diploma/Advance Diploma or higher-level qualification with 3 years mandatory relevant work experience. In the absence of qualification, 3 years full time relevant work experience is required.
Applicant should possess following skills
3 years of experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role
Good food and wine knowledge
Computer literacy
