We are looking for an experienced, passionate and business minded Restaurant Manager to lead the front of house team. This exciting role involves overseeing the guest experience, mentoring and leading a team and establishing service standards for the venue.

The role:

Delivering high end guest experiences in a casual setting.
Maintaining standards of service and observing SOPs in a fast paced environment.
Actively managing labour costs on shift.
Managing customer bookings systems.
Hiring, training and performance management.
Creating a happy and safe working environment for everyone by ensuring company policies are observed.
Managing lighting, music and atmosphere through the cycle of the day and seasons.
Driving functions and special events.
Completing start and end of day procedures.
Management of online takeaway.

The ideal candidate will:
Have a minimum of 2 years similar experience working in fast paced venues.
Have experience of POS terminals using Ordermate or similar.
Be cost minded and hold staff accountable.
Be proficient on Open Table or similar digital booking management systems.
Be passionate about giving guests the best possible experiences.
Be a proactive problem solver and have a keen attention to detail.
Be hands on about training and inspiring your team to do better everyday.
Have a solid understanding of wine and classic cocktails.
Be a champion at multi-tasking and not afraid to get their hands dirty.
Have the ability to think strategically, work to a plan and drive the business forward.
Always lead by example with focus on building and expanding the business into an exciting future.
Have strong English skills.
Hold a current RSA for Queensland.
