Pilu at Freshwater is seeking a highly motivated and experience Restaurant Manager. As a Restaurant Manager you will lead and motivate our dedicated staff to create memorable moments for our guests. Your responsibilities will include driving sales growth, maintaining impeccable restaurant standards, and upholding our commitment to hospitality excellence
Responsibilities of the role
Manage recruitment
Navigate restaurant compliance requirements
Planning events and communicating with the head chef for planned menus
Oversee profit & loss, budgets, and KPIs
Nurture and develop the potential of our team members
Engage with the local community to make a positive impact beyond our walls
Skills Required
Diploma of Hospitality and/or 1 to 3 years of employment experience
Experience managing teams of 20+ employees
Ability to manoeuvre various POS and reservation systems
Excellent digital skills
High level of English, both verbal and written
Wine Knowledge, preferably Italian and Sardinian
Positive Attitude and strong work ethic
Ability to work in and motivate a diverse team

Substantial leadership experience in managing large teams in a hospitality environment
Proven track record of fostering high-performing and engaged teams
Strong budget management and sales growth skills
Passion for the hospitality industry and customer-first approach
Applicant requirements
Available to work a varied roster between Monday to Sunday 9am to 11:30pm
Australian work rights required for this role
Compensation commensurate with experience and qualifications
$75,000 to $85,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
