As our business continues to grow, we are now seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to join our dedicated team and oversee the day-to-day operations of the café and restaurant.

Location: Waterford West, QLD
Key Responsibilities
As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth operations, high service standards, and continued customer satisfaction. Duties will include:
• Customer Service and Feedback: Interact with customers to gauge their satisfaction, address concerns promptly, and implement improvements where needed.
• Menu and Operations Planning: Work closely with chefs to plan and refine menus that reflect seasonal availability, customer preferences, and business goals.
• Stock and Financial Records: Maintain accurate records of inventory, stock levels, and financial transactions to support operational efficiency.
• Compliance and Standards: Ensure all dining facilities meet health, safety, and hygiene regulations, maintaining cleanliness, functionality, and presentation standards.
• Team Leadership: Recruit, train, roster, and supervise front-of-house and kitchen staff, ensuring they are well supported and motivated to deliver excellent service.
• Continuous Improvement: Monitor day-to-day performance and introduce strategies to improve efficiency, reduce wastage, and enhance customer experience.
• Event and Special Functions Management: Coordinate and organise special dining events and functions to attract and engage the local community.
• Purchasing and Cost Control: Manage the purchasing of supplies and stock, negotiating with suppliers where required, while ensuring pricing aligns with budgetary requirements.
• Community Engagement: Promote the café within the local area and help build strong relationships with regular patrons.
• Guest Relations: Greet customers warmly, manage reservations, and step in to assist with orders during busy periods when required.
Qualifications & Experience
• Minimum 3 years of proven experience in a restaurant or café management role.
• A relevant qualification – AQF Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma (Hospitality or related field).
• Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to mentor and motivate a team.
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
• Sound financial acumen, with experience in stock management, purchasing, and cost control.
• A strong customer service focus and ability to maintain positive relationships with staff and patrons.
• Flexibility to work across weekends, evenings, and busy trading hours as required.
Hours & Remuneration
• Full-time: 38 hours per week, including weekends as required.
• Salary: $75,000 – $80,000 plus superannuation per annum.
