About Us We are a Melbourne-based wedding videography studio with over 225+ weddings filmed since 2019. Our work captures the natural beauty, emotions, and cultural nuances of weddings across Australia, with couples from all walks of life. We pride ourselves on producing cinematic highlights films as well as full-length edits that couples cherish forever. The Role We are looking for a talented, detail-oriented, and culturally attuned wedding video editor to join our team long-term. One of our current editors is no longer with us, so this is a great opportunity for someone reliable and creative who wants steady work during our wedding season. Wedding Season: September – May (very few weddings in June–August). Workload: 20–30 weddings per season (shared with another editor). Pay: $180 USD per wedding (fixed). Turnaround: 2 weeks per wedding (this is critical, as it allows time for revisions before client delivery within 3 weeks). Deliverables per wedding: 4–6 Minute Wedding Highlights Film (music-driven, cinematic, emotional). Full-Length Film (ALL usable footage from the day + full ceremony + reception speeches + dances; usually 1–2 hours long). Premiere Pro Project File (final organised project for each wedding). Requirements Proven experience editing wedding films (please send examples of your work). Familiarity with weddings in Australia, UK, or USA. Understanding English/Australian culture is critical to interpreting footage naturally and authentically. Strong storytelling ability: not just cutting clips, but weaving together a narrative that matches the couple’s day. Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (must deliver the project file along with final exports). Must own a Musicbed.com subscription and use licensed tracks for both highlights and full-length edits. Highlights films must be cut to match the beats and transitions of the music (not random clips overlaid). Solid colour grading skills to ensure a cinematic, polished look across all films. Reliable communication and ability to stick to agreed deadlines.
