  • If you are are someone with a profesional background in Psychology or Rehabilitation Counselling interested in working in the Occupational Rehabilitation sector, this role could be for you!
  • In this diverse role, you will enjoy the flexibility and autonomy to manage your own day. You will have the support of a strong, close team of driven and energetic healthcare professionals where you can provide holistic support to clients and providing occupational rehabilitation services to clients with a range of conditions, both physical and psychological and supporting them to achieve positive return to health and return to work.

Some of your day to day includes

  • Case management (caseloads are manageable, and our consultants have the support of Rehabilitation Assistants to alleviate administrative tasks)
  • Applying your clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes
  • Working with employers and employees to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs
  • Working collaboratively with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals
  • Completing a variety of assessments using your clinical and discipline specific allied health skills, such as Functional Capacity Evaluations, Worksite Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments, and Activities of Daily Living Assessments.

  • Qualifications
  • You'll be a driven and energetic professional with hopefully all of the qualities below!
  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology or Rehabilitation Counselling;
  • General or Provisional AHPRA registration or Full ASORC Membership
  • Strong interpersonal skills - there is a lot of getting to know your clients and stakeholders!
  • Excellent Time management and organizational skills
  • Empathy, paired with genuine compassion and kindness, makes all the difference in this role.
  • Patience and resilience - essential for navigating challenges and supporting clients through their recovery journey
  • A current Driver’s License and access to own car with comprehensive insurance is a must!
