- Total Workfit Solutions (TWS) are Tasmania’s largest injury prevention and workplace rehabilitation provider, providing services unique to the local Tasmanian community.
- Our organization is growing, and we are looking for a dynamic, driven Allied Health professional with a passion for injury management and workplace rehabilitation to join our experienced team of Rehabilitation Consultants. We are open to either a Physiotherapist, Exercise Physiologist, Occupational Therapist, Psychologist, Nurse or Rehab Counsellor.
- This role is remote however will see you travelling around the North/Northwest region to support your clients (fuel allowance included). You will have plenty of variety and autonomy to set your day to best suit you and your clients.
- Job Description
- This full-time or part-time opportunity will see you delivering holistic, client centered services within workplace rehabilitation. Using your clinical knowledge and allied health background, you will be an integral part of assisting injured workers to recover at work and achieve independence at home, in the workplace, and the community, improving their wellbeing and purpose in life.
Day to day you will undertake
Workplace rehabilitation services in line with your scope of practice, such as
- Initial Needs Assessments
- Workplace Assessments
- Advice concerning job modifications
- Rehabilitation Counselling/Vocational Assessments
- ADL assessments
- Medical case conferences, stakeholder liaison and case management services
- Support needs assessments
- Qualifications
- Full registration with AHPRA or relevant professional body
- Excellent communication, customer service and time management skills
- A self-starter with a go-getter attitude, taking pride in a job well-done
- Ability to complete a satisfactory Working with Children Check, and Police Clearance
- Current Australian driver's license and vehicle with full comprehensive care insurance and willingness to travel around North/Northwest region to service their clients
- Willingness to learn and impact positively on people’s lives in tangible ways
- The ability to engage clients and stakeholders in the wellness and work journey
