- Epworth Freemasons, one of Victoria’s leading maternity hospitals, is seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Midwives to join our Postnatal and Birth Suite Unit/s in East Melbourne.
- We are recruiting for Part time or Full time positions as a Registered Midwife to join our Postnatal and Birth Suite Unit/s in East Melbourne

What You’ll Be Doing
- Providing expert midwifery care to postnatal mothers and newborns, including advice on feeding, baby care, and maternal recovery.
- Monitoring and assessing the health and wellbeing of both mother and baby, addressing any concerns promptly and effectively.
- Ensuring a seamless, patient-centered experience through collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
- Role-modeling empathy, compassion, and professionalism in your interactions with patients and families.
- Continuously enhancing your skills by participating in ongoing education and staying current with best practices in maternity care.
- Qualifications
What We’re Looking For
- AHPRA Registration as a midwife (essential).
- Previous experience in a Birth Suite and/or Postnatal ward.
- A strong understanding of contemporary maternity and newborn care practices.
- A passion for providing exceptional, empathetic care to women and their families

- The annual salary range for full time Registered Midwives – AUD $71,622 - $100,564 + super + entitlements, depending on registration type, year level and position/experience (prorated for part-time).
