About the Role

Face2Face Recruitment is seeking an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join our Canberra team, specialising in Australian Public Service (APS) recruitment. This is a 360-degree role responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment while building and growing your own desk.

You will recruit across project management, program management, and policy roles, working closely with APS clients and candidates to deliver compliant, high-quality recruitment outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Delivering end-to-end recruitment services including sourcing, interviewing, shortlisting, offer management, and onboarding
Recruiting APS5–EL2 roles across project, program, and policy functions
Conducting structured, competency-based interviews aligned to APS capability frameworks
Building and maintaining candidate pipelines through proactive sourcing and database management
Managing contractor relationships, extensions, and ongoing engagement
Developing new business opportunities and maintaining strong APS client relationships
Essential Requirements

Full Australian working rights (essential)
Proven experience in end-to-end recruitment and desk management
Demonstrated ability to work towards activity, placement, and billing targets
Desirable Skills / Experience

APS recruitment experience or strong understanding of APS frameworks
Confidence engaging with hiring managers and senior stakeholders
Experience using recruitment CRM or talent management systems
