Position Summary
The Recruiter will be familiar with the duties/responsibilities of the different departments within the company. The recruiter will post job openings, pre-screen candidates, submit qualified candidates to respective managers, and schedule and sit in on either one-on-one or group Teams interviews. Promote company’s reputation as “best place to work.”
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Able to be on the phone for long periods of time throughout the day
Collaborate with department managers, VP of Human Resources and HR Manager on a regular basis to identify hiring needs
Become knowledgeable with the duties/responsibilities of open jobs and understand candidate requirements
Post job openings on Indeed, Zip Recruiter, and internally on SharePoint
Ensure timely screening of resumes, outreach, and response to potential candidates (within 24 hours)
Conduct phone screens with potential candidates
Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes
Review salary history of open jobs, including geographic location of potential candidates, and discuss hourly/salary pay with VP of Human Resources or HR Manager prior to making job offer
Review and update job descriptions with VP of Human Resources, as needed
Create job offer letters and make job offers
Create and update recruiting processes
Keep onboarding and open position spreadsheets current
Initiate background check and send application once job offer accepted
Notify manager when background clears and provide new employee information so manager can open IT ticket
Assist HR Assistant with onboarding paperwork
Assist with projects or with whatever else is needed in HR Department
Provide daily recruiting analytics

Education & Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of recruiting experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point)
- Experience with ATS (Applicant Tracking Software)
- Experience with Paylocity preferred
