(SCHADS Level 3.3B) + Superannuation + Salary Packaging + 17.5% Annual Leave Loading About the program The Psychosocial Recovery Service (PRS) is a program that exists to provide non-clinical based psychosocial support services to assist people experiencing severe mental health challenges, resulting in a reduction in psychosocial functional capacity as well as their family and their carers. About the opportunity Under the direction of the Team Leader, the role of the Recovery Worker is to complete the initial intake and assessment, develop and execute action plans to assist individuals with achieving their recovery goals. This role will see you conducting group based activities aimed at building individual capacity and life skills as well as providing individual, person centred, recovery and trauma informed supports. You will also support the engagement of participants and their families with peer support and education programs as well as assisting them with accessing primary health services as appropriate. By delivering quality care and service, you will ensure that these individuals and their families can fully participate in the community and attain physical, mental and emotional wellbeing. Relevant qualifications or commensurate experience in working in a support role for people with mental health issues, generally a Certificate IV qualification or above Current valid Driver’s License and the ability to undertake travel Appropriate IT skills Right to Work within Australia Satisfactory National Police Records Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children's Check or willingness to obtain NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate Why us?
