We are currently looking for a: Raging Waters Sydney - Park Supervisor About the role: The Park Supervisor plays a critical leadership role in the daily operation of Raging Waters Sydney. On any given operating day, the Park Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the smooth and safe running of the entire park. This includes acting as the Chief Warden in emergencies, responding to guest issues and incidents, making real-time decisions that impact operations, and ensuring all departments are supported and performing to standard. The Park Supervisor follows and enforces the Park Supervisor Standard Operating Procedure to ensure a consistent, safe, and high-quality guest experience. Roles & Responsibilities: Roles & Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day running of the entire park during operating hours. Act as Chief Warden in the event of an emergency, ensuring correct response procedures and clear communication with all departments. Monitor and support all departments (Aquatics, Food & Beverage, Admissions, Guest Services, Retail, etc.) to ensure they are operating safely, efficiently, and to standard. Use the Park Supervisor Checklist as the guide for daily operations, ensuring every item is reviewed, followed up, and completed. Be the point of escalation for team members and department leaders on shift, resolving issues and making real-time operational decisions. Respond to and resolve guest complaints with professionalism, empathy, and authority, ensuring outcomes align with park policies. Conduct park walks to monitor presentation, cleanliness, and safety across all areas of the park. Ensure that all incidents, guest feedback, and operational issues are documented and communicated promptly to management. Support and coach team members across departments to deliver excellent service and uphold park standards. Ensure all necessary reporting and paperwork is completed in a timely and professional manner. Labour management and optimisation across all departments in conjunction with most senior representative in each department. Workplace Health & Safety Follow and comply with Work Health Safety policies, procedures, and guidelines. Correctly use all safety and personal protective equipment Act as a role model by demonstrating safe work behaviours. Report WHS incidents, injuries and safety activities to your direct Manager and First Aid at the time it occurs. Promote proactive hazard/ near miss reporting. Report any hazards or near-miss incidents to your direct Manager. Attend Work Group Meetings to discuss and promote safety. Requirements Skills: Strong background in venue or attractions supervision with proven ability to manage large-scale operations. Has current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) qualification or is willing to obtain this. Demonstrated ability to make quick, sound operational decisions in real-time. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Proven experience managing guest complaints and ensuring positive outcomes. Knowledge of compliance requirements, safety standards, and risk management practices in a large venue environment. Ability to lead, motivate, and coordinate cross-departmental teams. Excellent communication skills and leadership skills. Ability to interact in a professional and positive manner. Languages: Fluent English Experience Operational leadership or management experience within a large scale venue. Experience in emergency response, incident management, and acting as a Warden or Chief Warden. Relationships Internal: General Manager / Facilities / Finance / Food & Beverage / Guest Experience/ Operations / People & Culture / Retail / Sales & Marketing. External: Guests/ Contractors / Suppliers / Business Partners. Organisation Any other relevant comments: Ability to work flexible working hours including but not limited to weekends, evenings and public holidays. Adhere to the Company Code of Conduct policy. Represent the Company well internally and externally; convey a professional and positive image of the organization and business affiliates. Be able to work in all weather conditions including sun and rain, hot and cold climates, indoor and outdoor work. To carry out all duties and responsibilities as assigned by your Direct Manager, General Manager, or any member of the Management Team. Adhere to the Employee Handbook content and requirements. You are required to have a high level of physical fitness, stamina and be physically fit.
