We are currently looking for a: Raging Water Sydney - Digital Marketing Assistant About the role: The Digital Marketing Assistant will play a key role in supporting the marketing team’s efforts to deliver impactful campaigns and strengthen brand visibility across all digital platforms used by Raging Waters Sydney. A core focus of this role includes creating engaging and on-brand content for social media platforms to drive audience engagement and grow online presence. This role also assists with the execution of various marketing initiatives and helps maintain consistent communication with target audiences. It’s a great opportunity to build content creation and marketing skills within a fast-paced, collaborative team. Roles & Responsibilities: Roles & Responsibilities Campaign Execution: Collaborate with the marketing team to implement and execute marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, email, and website. Assist in the creation of campaign materials such as graphics, copy, and content. Content Creation: Contribute to content development for marketing materials, including social media posts, email newsletters, website, and other collateral. Create and maintain a library of image and video content to be used across all communication channels. Help maintain a consistent brand voice and style across all communication platforms. Social Media Management: Support social media efforts by scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and responding to comments and messages. Plan and execute content ideas to drive social media growth and engagement across Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok and LinkedIn. Collaborate with social media influencers to help enhance brand visibility and reputation. Market Research: Conduct research to gather insights on industry trends, competitors, and customer preferences to inform marketing strategies. Assist in analysing data to identify opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly. Event Coordination: Assist in planning and coordinating marketing events. Report any hazards or near-miss incidents to your direct Manager and the People & Culture Director. Attend Work Group Meetings to discuss and promote safety. Requirements Languages: Fluent English Skills: Enthusiastic and proactive attitude. Adaptability to changing priorities and tasks. Eagerness to learn and stay updated on marketing trends. Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration. Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines. Experience: Currently studying or completed a bachelor’s degree or vocational education in marketing or communications. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with marketing tools/platforms. Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends, as well as digital marketing principles. Highly organized with strong attention to detail. Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work collaboratively and standalone in a fast-paced team environment. Prior experience in marketing, either through internships, coursework, or entry-level positions, is a plus. Relationships Internal: General Manager / Facilities / Finance / Food & Beverage / Guest Experience/ Operations / People & Culture / Retail / Sales & Marketing. External: Guests/ Contractors / Suppliers / Business Partners. Organization Any other relevant comments: Ability to work flexible working hours including but not limited to weekends, evenings and public holidays. Adhere to the Company Code of Conduct policy. Be able to work in all weather conditions including sun and rain, hot and cold climates, indoor and outdoor work.
