About the Role
As a Marine Mechanic, you will be responsible for the maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of a range of outboard motors and boat systems across both recreational and commercial use.

Key Responsibilities:
• Service, diagnose, and repair Mercury and Suzuki outboard engines
• Perform maintenance and rigging on Quintrex and Stacer boats
• Conduct warranty and insurance work to manufacturer standards
• Use diagnostic tools to identify mechanical and electrical faults
• Maintain accurate service and job records
• Work in a team environment focused on quality and customer satisfaction
• Keep up to date with factory training and technical updates

What We’re Looking For
• Certificate III in Marine Mechanical Technology (or equivalent trade qualification)
• Proven experience working on outboard engines – Mercury and Suzuki preferred
• Familiarity with rigging and fitting boat packages
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Valid boat/marine licence (preferred)
• Attention to detail and a strong work ethic
