Position Description
We are seeking a QC Chemist to join our Analytical Laboratory. The role involves chemical analysis of mineral and ore samples, managing quality control systems, and ensuring compliance with ISO9001:2015 standards.

Duties
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative chemical analyses using ICP-MS, ICP-OES, and XRF.
• Analyse physical and chemical characteristics of materials.
• Maintain laboratory quality control systems.
• Develop, validate, and improve analytical methods.
• Liaise with clients regarding laboratory results and services.
• Ensure WHS compliance in handling and disposal of chemicals.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry (or higher).
• Minimum 1–3 years’ experience in a similar role within mining, mineral processing, or related industries.
• Strong knowledge of inorganic and physical chemistry principles.
• Proficiency with ICP-MS, ICP-OES, and XRF instrumentation.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Conditions
Full-time, permanent role.

Salary range:
$76,515 – $96,515 per annum + superannuation.
