As our Property Acquisition Specialist, you are instrumental in leading the site acquisition (SAED) function for new infrastructure deployments, particularly in support of satellite ground station projects. This includes site identification, stakeholder coordination, and risk management across sales, fibre, legal, and construction teams. Your work helps build client confidence and supports the broader property function through contributing to strategies to maximise property value. Your peers recognise you for your strong interpersonal skills that allow you to develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to influence the decision-making process and achieve required outcomes. You are dynamic and versatile in your approach and have proven and thorough experience in the management of complex stakeholder issues at all levels. As the Property Acquisition Specialist, you will: Lead the SAED function for site identification, selection, and acquisition phases of the deployment process. This is an integrated role and involves collaboration with stakeholders including: Sales / Bid Team, Customer Access / Fibre team, Design and Construction internal team & Suppliers, and Legal service providers. Assist the team in developing client confidence to secure bids. Identify, asses and control risk throughout the deployment process. Depending upon the volume of growth of the Satellite client portfolio and the demands of the acquisition function, the role would also involve: Leading overall project / portfolio coordination and governance. Participating in developing / documenting processes and systems, project governance; contributing to the maturing of the deployment function. Supporting the broader property and divestment function (fixed network). About You You demonstrate Telstra behaviours, and you actively contribute to others by sharing insights and continuously improving your skills. You bring a proactive mindset, commercial acumen, and a passion for shaping the future of telecommunications infrastructure. A working knowledge of the Australian Carrier Network Property market and transaction protocols and some site acquisition (SAED) experience. Understanding of relevant Telecommunications Carrier rights, legislation and regulatory requirements. Experience with project coordination and administration / A flair with project systems, structure, project coordination Some exposure to the management of (or working for) external suppliers charged with delivering Telco Lease completions. A demonstrable data driven and results oriented mindset and commercial / financial acumen.
