About the opportunity:
Join the Department for Energy and Mining (DEM) as a Project Officer, Information and Records, where you'll play a key role in ensuring compliance with South Australian records management legislation and policies. This dynamic, newly created position involves working on records-related projects, delivering expert advice and training, and supporting the development of innovative records management solutions. You'll work across the department to promote best practices in records handling, including access, storage, sentencing, and disposal of both physical and electronic records.

Key Selection Criteria:

- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to build productive relationships across all levels.
- Demonstrated experience in records management projects, including research, analysis, reporting, and training development.
- Proven ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and meet deadlines in high-pressure environments.
- High-level knowledge of records management legislation and systems (e.g. Content Manager), with expertise in providing advice and training.
Remuneration:
ASO4 salary range $76,561 - $80,256 per annum + superannuation
Full-time role, working 37.5 hours per week
Special Conditions:
- This is a contract/term vacancy up to 12 months
- Due to the nature of the work involved, this position is wholly office based
