Randstad are currently partnering with a well known State Government department based in Adelaide. This opportunity is available immediately for customer service focused individuals with high attention to detail with experience in program and/or project delivery.
About the role
We are seeking individuals that have excellent customer service skills, who are confident in communication and are effective providing organisational support through programs and systems!
The successful candidates will be undertaking the following duties on a day to day basis
...- Provide a range of complex and specialised business, administrative, project and management support services to develop, support and enable the implementation and further development of an effective and complete Asset Management System.
- Provide an efficient, responsive, and professional point of contact for Corporate Asset Management related matters to internal clients.
- Implement and monitor compliance of SA Government, Sector and Agency business rules, policies, and procedures, acting on variations and providing recommendations as appropriate.
- Establish and maintain effective, productive, and positive partnering relationships with staff, volunteer and supplier/contractors.
- Follow systems, policies and procedures to support the business and contribution for continuous improvement.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of business processes, including the monitoring of KPI’s and actions derived from projects/programs of work.
- Review and analyse asset management work flows, processes, and procedures, identify service gaps and develop suggestions and recommendations that enhance operational and business service delivery.
- Prepare a range of project related documents and reports related to the outcomes of the Asset Management program of works.
Skills and Experience
- Well developed ability to communicate effectively, in all aspects of correspondence
- Demonstrated ability to work co-operatively, communicate and negotiate effectively and concisely with a diverse range of people in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Experience in coordinating or contributing to projects, program management and project related activities.
- Demonstrated ability to cope with competing demands, prioritise work and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse problems and demonstrate initiative, in developing, planning, and implementing new and existing procedures, policies and standards.
- Experience in the preparation of documented work flows, processes, and procedures.
- Experience in writing instruction guides for both staff and volunteers.
- Experience in organising information sessions for stakeholders within regions and strong communication skills in relation to project progress.
- Must have a current National Police Clearance or willing to obtain immediately
Desirable Attributes
- Understanding and knowledge of the Emergency Services Sector.
- Experience in data collection, analysis, and reporting for decision-making purposes.
- Knowledge and application of administrative and business policies, procedures and standards in an emergency services environment.
- Knowledge and understanding of public sector legislation relating to SA Government business and operations.
