About the Role BDO’s Project & Infrastructure Advisory team are seeking professionals who are looking to step-up in their career, and who are enthusiastic about managing and delivering some of Australia’s largest and most important infrastructure projects. After a period of growth in the team, we are looking for applicants across Senior Consultant and Senior Manager levels. The Project & Infrastructure Advisory team provides strategic, transactional, financial, and economic advice to public and private sector clients regarding their significant projects with services such as business cases and feasibility assessments, financial modelling, transaction advice, cost benefit assessments, and financial due diligence. You will have the opportunity to be involved in the following types of transactions: Provision of written and verbal financial advice to all levels of government in relation to the assessment of proposed projects including advising on the procurement of large projects Development of bespoke financial models to support business cases and/or project finance advisory engagements Provision of financial advisory services to consortia bidding for large infrastructure assets. In addition to the above specific responsibilities, you will have the opportunity to be involved in a broad range of Project & Infrastructure Advisory work including economics, procurement and transaction management. About You As a key advisor to some of Australia’s most significant infrastructure projects, you will be process focused and confident in your ability. Your skills and experience may also include: 3-4 years financial and commercial experience with infrastructure projects - Senior Consultant 8+ years financial and commercial experience with infrastructure projects - Senior Manager General corporate finance experience, particularly with conducting financial due diligence engagements Highly numerate with excellent financial modelling and quantitative analysis skills, with strong experience in Microsoft Excel Excellent presentation skills including superior report writing skills and ability to confidently present concepts to clients Strong commercial acumen and understanding of relevant markets Ability to guide the work of junior team members and manage assigned deliverables across a few engagements - as suitable A strong academic record Post Graduate studies (e.g. CFA/CA), either completed or underway Why BDO?
