Where the team fits in The Programmatic Trader sits within the Programmatic Trading Operations team which is part of the Customer Group headed up by Kul Singh. The Programmatic Trading Operations team works closely with the Sales team and their customers to activate digital advertising campaigns via programmatic trading platforms, utilizing our valuable first party data. What the role is all about The Programmatic Trader provides specialised product and technology expertise and solutions in all aspects of digital media - particularly those utilised by the Programmatic Trading Operations team (tagging and tracking; audience segmentation; audience activation; programmatic trading). They will assist with strategy development and technical implementation, ad trafficking, troubleshoot and optimise client campaigns across multiple industry leading ad platforms, while improving existing processes through initiatives of automation and documentation. They will also be responsible for maintaining expert knowledge of digital media, programmatic campaign management, attribution and reporting systems, while working to maximise revenue and expand network reach and capabilities through integrations with third party partners. The Programmatic Trader leverages their operational skills, training and industry knowledge to provide an exceptional level of account management to ensure internal and external customers receive excellent client service at all times. Work with the Team Leader and Trading Desk Manager to develop & execute bidding, targeting and inventory trading strategies for all offsite media buying across Display, Audio, Video & Social Media Work with the Sales team to deliver targeted and effective Audience Extension solutions across Display, Audio, Video & Social Media Implement, QA, and troubleshoot ad campaigns, using DSP platforms & other ad tech solutions Manage campaign timelines and deliverables across internal and external stakeholders Manage the acquisition of creative assets, insertion orders, campaign artefacts, and all relevant campaign documentation in preparation for campaign launch Execute a strict campaign QA process to ensure accurate campaign implementation, pacing, and performance Ensure that all campaign information is easy to access for all customers & stakeholders Who we’re looking for Someone with a few runs on the board - 2+ years’ experience trading media using Demand Side Platforms A minimum of 12 months experience with enterprise DSP platforms. Experience with Facebook Business Manager a plus. Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Someone who looks at tricky situations through a solutions-focused lens Work productively in a fast paced and agile environment - #gsd (Urban Dictionary will help on this one!)
