- As a Program Manager for GRID Solutions, you will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of complex technical programs across energy management systems. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including solution design, engineering, configuration management, and global delivery centers, to ensure seamless implementation and operational excellence. In this role, you will oversee project delivery models, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and manage technical aspects of program execution while collaborating with stakeholders to meet delivery commitments. This is a high-impact position where your leadership, technical expertise, and problem-solving skills will directly influence successful software delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Accountabilities
- Lead the technical execution of GRID Solutions programs, managing software development, deployment, configuration, and operational testing.
- Develop and maintain effective Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), track progress, and implement Agile delivery methods, including Release Train Engineer, Scrum Master, or Product Owner responsibilities where applicable.
- Coordinate closely with the Project Manager to manage scope, assess change requests, mitigate risks, and resolve problems efficiently.
- Optimize deployment processes by implementing Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, and test automation with DevOps teams.
- Support customer management activities, establishing trust and ensuring delivery commitments are met in collaboration with the Project Manager.
- Drive operational excellence through continuous improvement, change management, and measurement of software delivery performance indicators such as on-time delivery, budget adherence, process compliance, and customer satisfaction.
- Contribute technical guidance and expertise in energy, distribution, or market management systems where applicable.
- Proven experience in technical program or project management within software development and deployment environments.
- Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience performing roles such as Release Train Engineer, Scrum Master, or Product Owner.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams, including engineering, configuration management, and delivery centers.
- Experience in process improvement, performance measurement, and change management.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with energy management systems (EMS), distribution management systems (DMS), or market management systems (MMS) is highly desirable.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, complex technical environments and ensure high-quality delivery outcomes.
