This is a flexible and critical role where you provide essential, objective feedback that helps our clients achieve excellence. Our shoppers come from all walks of life, to better represent the customer base of our clients in a variety of businesses like shops, cafes, fast food restaurants, beauty clinics, pharmacies and even vets.

Mystery Shopping is an excellent way to boost your income. It’s incredibly flexible and perfect for fitting in around your other commitments. You don’t need prior experience, provided you have the skills and tech listed below. We include detailed instructions for every project, to make sure you know what to expect.

The ideal candidate will possess:
* Exceptional Attention to Detail: The ability to observe, recall, and accurately report on specific service and environment criteria. We deal only in facts, so accuracy is paramount.
* Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written communication skills to accurately and professionally document experiences and articulate feedback. Verbal communication is essential for in-person visits or phone call surveys, so you must be easily understood.
* Technologically Confident: Comfortable using technology, including a reliable mobile phone and computer (or laptop/tablet) with stable internet and email access for receiving assignments and submitting reports.
* Reliability and Compliance: A proven ability to read, understand, and meticulously follow detailed instructions and deadlines for every assignment. Some surveys require photos or receipts to be uploaded as proof.

How much will you get paid?

We pay our Mystery Shoppers for every completed assignment—we don’t ask them to work for freebies or to consider a free meal as their payment.

Payment Structure: Mystery Shop payments are different for each assignment and are based on the time and effort needed. Typically, payments range from $20-$50 (sometimes more) for onsite visits and $15-$30 for phone calls.

Reimbursements: Meals and purchases are in addition to the payment. If a purchase is required, Mystery Shoppers use their own money, then are paid back with their survey payment. All information provided before you accept an assignment.

Fast Payments: At Above Benchmark, we are incredibly proud to have the fastest Mystery Shopper payments in the country. Payments are processed weekly into the nominated bank account. We do not pay in vouchers, freebies, or PayPal.
