An exciting opportunity for 200 people currently exists at our Riverina Plant in Yanco, New South Wales for Production Worker positions. These positions are permanent full time, to start December 2024/January 2025. Standard working terms and conditions are outlined in our Enterprise Bargaining Agreement, ‘JBS Australia Pty Limited – Riverina Beef Enterprise Agreement 2014’. Underpinned by the Meat Industry Award. The starting hourly rate is $27.48 (level 5).

The Riverina Plant is a 5 day operation which employs approximately 400 people. Located 75km southeast of Griffith, in the heart of the Murrumbidgee irrigation district, our Riverina processing plant is an integrated grain fed facility. JBS Riverina Beef plant has current processing capacity of 600 head of beef per day and is fed purely by the adjoining feedlot that has a carrying capacity of 53,333 head.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Perform basic routine tasks and/or operate equipment requiring little or no previous training or experience.
Exercise minimal discretion in deciding how tasks are performed.
Applies basic hygiene procedures.
Is required to meet basic quality requirements

About you:
Relevant qualifications or experience related to the role is not necessary as training will be provided.
Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills.
Reliable transport.
Demonstrate a committed and dedicated work ethic.
Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team.
Willing to undergo pre-employment medical and physical examinations.
