Day shift, Permanent Full time role Work for a well known company A friendly and supportive work culture We have a position available at our Penrith site offering a great shift pattern and great team at our iconic site in Western Sydney! The Role Our Penrith site is located in Greater Western Sydney on the banks of the Nepean River and manufactures a range of more than 50 milk-based products. The site currently produces around 145 million litres of product every year – receiving and processing milk 24 hours per day, seven days per week, 365 days a year! We proudly source milk from around 60 dairy farms across NSW and are passionate about supporting local products. Do you have previous experience as a Production Operator? We are looking for experienced operators that will ensure all functions are carried out in an effective, efficient and timely manner. Operators in this role may be required to change tasks throughout the Shift depending on labour demand, including but not limited to: alternating filling machines, cleaning, and stores. This role does require heavy lifting of around 20kgs, you must be able to do this comfortably and often. This position is a day shift role working on a fortnight rotating shift, 5am start time to 1pm finish. Responsibilities Safe setup and operation of all filler lines and equipment Report all safety, quality and environmental incidents and issues Accurate completion and recording of all quality, testing, and production related documentation Work effectively and efficiently to reduce downtime Training staff and assisting with assessment as required Collaboration with Cross Functional teams About you Previous experience in a Production Operator role, FMCG background desirable Comfortable using technology for production, safety, quality, and reporting Positive attitude, attention to detail, and eagerness to develop Good communication skills and ability to work and collaborate in a team Basic computer literacy skills Commitment to teamwork and safe working practices The Bega Story Bega Cheese Group is home to many trusted and iconic food and beverage brands.
