Job Purpose:
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Production Manager
(Manufacturing) to join our team at Simply Seated in Sydney.
This role is responsible for leading and managing our production operations,
ensuring that all custom-built event structures and manufactured components
are delivered efficiently, safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
The successful candidate will work closely with management, design, and
operations teams to continuously improve production processes and support
the company’s ongoing growth.

Key Responsibilities

? Develop, implement, and manage production plans and schedules to meet
project requirements.
? Plan production activities in terms of output, quality, cost, timelines, and
labour needs.
? Oversee daily manufacturing operations and workshop activities.
? Monitor production performance, output, and costs, and make adjustments
where required.
? Manage maintenance planning and ensure machinery, tools, and
equipment are operating effectively.
? Coordinate the supply of materials, parts, and production resources.
? Ensure quality control procedures are followed across all production
stages.
? Liaise with management and other departments regarding production
matters.
? Oversee the acquisition, installation, and setup of new equipment and
systems.

? Research and implement improved production methods and workflows.
? Prepare and maintain accurate production records, reports, and
documentation.
? Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety (WHS) regulations.
? Lead, supervise, and evaluate production staff and contractors.
? Provide training, guidance, and performance feedback to team members.
What We’re Looking For

? Minimum 1 year work experience as a production manager in a
manufacturing environment
?Bachelors degree in relatives fields
?Knowledge of production planning, cost control, and resource
management.
? Experience managing workshop operations and fabrication
processes.
? Ability to lead and motivate production teams.
? Strong organisational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
? Solid understanding of WHS and safety compliance.
? Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.
? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
? Proficiency in technical and production software is an advantage.
