About
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Photo Retoucher with extensive experience in product photography. We have recently completed a professional product shoot and are looking for an expert retoucher to bring these images to life—delivering clean, consistent, and visually striking results that elevate our brand. Responsibilities Retouch raw product photography to the highest professional standard. Enhance product features by balancing colour, tone, contrast, and sharpness. Ensure products look true-to-life while maintaining a polished, market-ready finish. Remove imperfections, dust, unwanted reflections, and other distractions. Maintain brand consistency across all final images. Optimise files for both web and print use (colour profiles, resolution, file format, etc.). Collaborate with our creative team to ensure the images reflect brand vision and campaign needs. Requirements Proven experience as a photo retoucher, specialising in product photography (portfolio required). Advanced proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom (knowledge of Capture One is a plus). Strong eye for detail, colour accuracy, and texture. Ability to handle large batches of images with consistency and efficiency. Understanding of industry standards for e-commerce, print, and digital marketing. Excellent communication and ability to work to deadlines. Project Details Scope: Editing product images from our recent shoot. Raw files: Available here for reference Dropbox Link . https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fo/jb8tdl97iv0c26y9nyblg/AIUZ_nmAednM7CvuK5Gwt4c?rlkey=6g2brip7bnt7qg5jl0drrtuel&e=2&st=z595s33c&dl=0 Output: High-resolution, fully retouched product images ready for web and marketing use. Some additional notes on retouching these. I’d recommend a more balanced approach: keeping whites clean but softening highlights, bringing back natural shadows to give the product more depth, and slightly reducing saturation for a more realistic and premium look. Another thing I’ve noticed is that the logo feels too faint at the moment — it gets lost against the surface. Subtly enhancing its visibility would help the branding stand out while still looking natural. Also, at the bottom edges of the product and the shadow looks not neat, the current retouching looks uneven and introduces some unwanted artifacts, which I’d suggest refining for a cleaner and more polished finish.
