POSITION - PRODUCT MARKETING SPECIALIST

As a Product Marketing Specialist, you will be a leader on the team responsible for telling the world (and company) the story of our products. You will be expected to identify opportunities and develop pricing and promotional plans with other team members, promoting existing and new products. You will be the chief advocate for a specific product, promoting their features and benefits. You will also be responsible for planning the strategy around the pricing, messaging and marketing of new product launches.

Responsibilities:-

• Together with the product team, educate both internal and external stakeholders about our products features and their benefits.
• Identify new markets, develop pricing and promotional plans to support entry into these markets.
• Support existing markets with price comparison reviews, promotional activities and advertising coordination.
• Create product content with other team members (e.g. case studies, product videos, website copy, blog posts, forum responses) to articulate and promote the benefits of our products.
• Promote and present to internal and external audiences the current and new products that will underpin our growth.
• Providing expertise and recommendations on various marketing elements, pricing, advertising, sales promotion, and distribution opportunities.

Requirements:-

• Tertiary qualification or 3+ years working experience.
• Past experience in digital marketing, product marketing, and/or product management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in or understanding of content management systems.
• Work in a collaborative cross-team capacity to promote current products, identify opportunities for new product and to plan and coordinate the development, pricing, planning and implementation of these new products.
• You are at the centre of our entire organisation, constantly interacting with team members and prospects.
• Experience and working knowledge of pumps and hydraulics systems an advantage.
