Role Description
The Product Manager - Intern role on this team provides the opportunity to experience Product Management from both the Business and the Technical aspects. The intern candidates are provided time and space to observe, learn and experience the breadth of opportunities available on a Technical Product Management Team. This program breaks into two primary tracks:
- First focusing on an independently driven project following the “Waterfall” Project Development Methodology simulating the “Special Projects” path required of a Technical Product Manager at Acxiom.
- Second acting as a member of a joint Product / Engineering Scrum Team following the “Agile” Project Development Methodology to simulate the typical day in the life responsibilities of a Technical Product Manager at Acxiom.
Internship Details:
- Start date is January 20th, 2026.
- Anticipated graduation date is December 2026 or May 2027.
- 40 hours/week work dedication during summer and breaks, 20-25/week during the semester.
What you will do:
- Gain knowledge in the growing Identity space for Adtech and Martech applications.
- Manage a self-guided project by meeting monthly/quarterly deadlines.
- Execute product development plan as a hands-on partner with engineering.
- Work closely with external teams to address product function and operations.
- Participate daily with Identity Engineering Scrum Team.
- Create recommendations on ongoing product fitness based on user and satisfaction metrics.
Qualifications
- Strong verbal, written, and collaboration skills.
- Pursuing a degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Marketing, Technical Business or equivalent.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Practical experience with SQL (Oracle/AWS Athena/GCP BigQuery/etc).
Requirements
- In a Bachelor’s degree program centered on technology or product management with 3.5+ GPA.
- In a Master’s degree program centered on technology or product management.
- Practical experience in data processing environments.
- Practical experience with AWS/GCP or other public cloud platforms.
- Practical experience in Agile/Scrum working environment.
