The Product Lead is part of the Equities Product Team within Securities & Payments. The role will be dedicated to the Customer Readiness Team in the CHESS Project whose primary purpose is to ensure the industry’s preparedness and engagement through all phases of industry testing, supporting the delivery of critical market infrastructure. This role ensures the effectiveness of industry testing phases, balancing customer needs, regulatory requirements, and business objectives to support the project’s strategic outcomes. The role acts as a bridge between internal delivery teams and external industry participants, ensuring that industry testing is robust, transparent, and aligned with market expectations. Your responsibilities: Provide strategic leadership and direction for CHESS Project industry test enablers, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and industry needs. Act as Lead Product Owner for all industry test enabler solutions, including industry test data sets, customer test tools, and non-functional requirements (NFRs) Providing leadership to Product Owners, Product Managers and Business Analysts to ensure industry test requirements are delivered. Support the Customer Readiness Delivery Manager and Stakeholder Engagement team in external engagement for industry test enablers, including working groups and bilateral discussions, to represent industry requirements and communicate updates. Support delivery and test teams to ensure customer-facing defects are correctly tagged and have appropriate acceptance criteria for industry needs. Collaborate with business and delivery stakeholders to define success criteria, track performance, and deliver continuous improvement. Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment that encourages innovation and accountability. Your experience and qualifications: Must have: 5+ years’ experience as a Product Owner/Manager or equivalent role in an agile environment on a large-scale project. Demonstrated leadership of cross-functional teams, with a focus on industry testing or large-scale product delivery. Familiarity with ASX customers, products, and services. Experience in financial services or market infrastructure, with a commercial and customer-focused mindset. Nice to have: Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
