Located in Stirling, South Australia, they are a fully equipped pro shop that ensures guests have everything they need. The course also hosts private and corporate events, offering a versatile setting for gatherings.
They are currently seeking a skilled Procurement Manager to join their team. The Procurement Manager is responsible for overseeing the acquisition of goods and services required by the business. This role involves developing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the timely delivery of quality materials at the best possible prices. The Procurement Manager also monitors market trends, coordinates with internal departments to forecast needs, and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and sustainability initiatives.
The annual salary for this position is $76,515 to $77,000 plus superannuation.
Responsibilities include:
• Plan and execute procurement processes to meet business needs, optimising cost, quality, and timing.
• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers, ensuring long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with key stakeholders.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers to achieve the best value for the company.
• Ensure purchase orders are processed, tracked, and that contracts are compliant with business and legal standards.
• Track supplier performance based on agreed-upon service levels and resolve issues related to quality, delivery, or cost.
• Work with operations, finance, and other departments to understand business needs, align procurement plans, and forecast demand.
• Monitor procurement activities to ensure compliance with internal policies, regulations, and ethical standards.
• Coordinate with inventory management teams to ensure optimal stock levels, avoiding shortages or overstocking.
• Analyse industry trends, supplier capabilities, and pricing models to inform procurement decisions and maintain competitive advantage.
• Create and manage procurement budgets, ensuring that purchases align with financial targets and cost constraints.
• Identify potential risks in the supply chain (e.g., disruptions, price fluctuations), and develop mitigation strategies.
• Promote the use of environmentally friendly and sustainable sourcing practices, and evaluate suppliers' sustainability performance.
Qualifications:
• Must possess a bachelor's degree or higher qualification.
• Should have at least five (5) years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualification.
• Should have at least one (1) year of relevant experience.
