Located in Bankstown, our dedicated team ensures every journey is smooth, affordable, and stress-free. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Procurement Manager to oversee and strengthen our purchasing and supplier management functions. This role is central to ensuring that Affordable Car Rentals has the resources, vehicles, and equipment required to operate at peak efficiency. You will manage supplier negotiations, oversee purchasing strategies, and implement robust systems to support our growing rental operations.

Location: Bankstown, NSW

Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement effective purchasing strategies that align with company goals and support operational growth.
• Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of vehicles, spare parts, and services that meet quality and cost expectations.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and monitor purchase transactions to ensure compliance with company policies and budget controls.
• Evaluate supplier performance, build strong vendor relationships, and identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising service standards.
• Direct the day-to-day activities of staff in the procurement team, providing guidance, performance monitoring, and training where required.
• Collaborate closely with operations and fleet management teams to forecast procurement needs and adjust strategies to match demand.
• Ensure that all purchased vehicles and equipment meet industry, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Monitor stock levels of vehicles, spare parts, and consumables, implementing processes to avoid shortages or delays in customer service.
• Prepare regular procurement reports for management to support strategic decision-making.
• Continuously review market trends and explore innovative sourcing solutions to maintain a competitive edge.

Salary: $75,000 – $85,000 + superannuation

Hours: Full-time, 38 hours per week

Qualifications & Experience
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in procurement, supply chain, or a related role.
• A minimum of an AQF bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in business, supply chain, management, or related discipline.
