As a Skills Assure Supplier, NCS delivers government-subsidised training and prides itself on combining professionalism with genuine care for student success. We are seeking a passionate and committed Private Tutor to join our team in Mossman. This is a full-time role (38 hours per week) where you will be responsible for designing and delivering personalised learning programs, supporting students one-on-one or in small groups, and ensuring each learner reaches their potential in line with both academic and practical training outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
• Design tailored study plans for individuals and groups, ensuring they address learning goals, career pathways, and training requirements.
• Deliver engaging lessons across both theoretical and practical subject areas, adapting content to suit diverse learning styles.
• Guide students through exercises, assessments, and workplace-relevant problem-solving tasks that build confidence and capability.
• Provide constructive feedback, mentoring, and encouragement to support continuous improvement and motivation.
• Revise and adapt course materials and teaching methods to reflect industry changes, student needs, and training requirements.
• Prepare students for formal assessments, practical evaluations, and examinations in line with accredited training standards.
• Stay updated with developments in education and subject-specific fields through ongoing professional learning and networking.
• Collaborate with employers, trainers, and other stakeholders to ensure student learning outcomes align with workforce expectations.
• Organise and supervise visits, demonstrations, or applied learning activities that enrich student learning experiences.
• Maintain accurate student progress records and contribute to compliance requirements of a Registered Training Organisation (RTO).
• Actively promote a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel valued and empowered.

Qualifications & Experience
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in teaching, tutoring, or training within a recognised educational or vocational setting.
• Possess an AQF Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in a relevant field.

Salary & Benefits
• Attractive salary of $75,000 – $85,000 per annum plus superannuation.
