This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to diverse and impactful projects within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This is a permanent position based in our Development & Project Delivery Pillar and will be responsible for end-to-end project coordination and execution, ensuring successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline. You will engage with stakeholders, manage project risks, and ensure alignment with strategic objectives. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Under broad direction from the Senior Project Manager - Program Operations, you will be responsible for coordinating aspects of the project life-cycle, including planning, monitoring, and evaluation activities as relevant to the project phase/s Developing and implementing project plans, including collating documents and records of relevant issues Providing project management and subject matter advice to management on the efficient and effective delivery of project outcomes Controlling and managing project-related issues, risks, dependencies and/or changes to project plans and/or scope Utilising project management programs/applications/software including Microsoft Office, MS Project and Archibus. Provision of project-relevant secretariat and administrative services, including preparation and tracking of agendas, minutes and actions for committee meetings, project steering groups and stakeholder/client engagement activities Developing project-relevant communication and education products, including communication plans and media content Assisting with the coordination and execution of consultant and contractor procurement and contract management activities. Completing monthly and ad hoc project reporting to a high standard in consultation with the Senior Project Manager - Program Operations and the Development & Project Development Pillar Leadership Team. You will be responsible for supporting and maintaining a wide range of project-related processes and activities across all phases of the project lifecycle. Key deliverables for this role include creating project structure, providing data and reports to management, assisting with resource planning, creating processes and workflows, knowledge sharing and coordination of procurement and contract management activities. You will be working as part of a small sized high-performing team within a multi-dimensional, fast-paced and challenging operational environment. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant building, construction or project management discipline with at least 1 year of experience in an Assistant Project Manager position or at least 2 years experience as a Project Coordinator / Project Officer and/or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or training. Demonstrated experience assisting and coordinating Consultant and Contractor Procurement and Contract Management including preparation of RFP/RFT documentation, coordination of tender evaluation activities and contract administration. Demonstrated project planning experience, including the ability to prioritise tasks, work to tight deadlines, anticipate future requirements and resolve issues. Demonstrated problem solving skills using judgement and reasoning in interpreting situations and providing accurate and consistent advice. Effective interpersonal skills that enable strong working relationships with internal and external clients and stakeholders of varying levels of seniority. Excellent time management skills, including the ability to balance competing priorities within tight timeframes. Advanced written and oral communication skills. Experience using Microsoft Office and MS Project is highly desirable along with a proven ability to quickly adapt to new software and systems.
