To support Foxess's growth in Australia, they seek to appoint a Principal Marketing Specialist.

Job Overview

The Principal Marketing Specialist plays a pivotal role in driving the execution and localization of the company’s APAC marketing strategies within the Australian market. Reporting to the Marketing Director (Australia Region) and working closely with the APAC Marketing Team at Headquarter level, this position serves as a key link between regional strategic direction and local market implementation.

The role supports sustainable market expansion, strengthens brand positioning, and enhances channel development across Australia through strategic analysis, stakeholder engagement, and coordinated marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Ø Implement and execute approved strategic marketing initiatives to support brand development and market expansion in Australia.

Ø Conduct detailed market analysis on industry trends, competitor positioning, and channel dynamics to support informed business decisions.

Ø Support the localization and execution of brand and product strategies in alignment with the Marketing Director’s direction.

Ø Manage stakeholder engagement with distributors, partners, and internal teams to strengthen commercial relationships and market penetration.

Ø Provide analytical insights and structured reporting to assist senior management in strategic planning and performance evaluation.

Ø Coordinate marketing activities, including exhibitions and industry events, ensuring alignment with broader regional objectives.

Requirements:

Experience:

Ø At least 1–2 years of progressively responsible experience in a professional-level Marketing Specialist or marketing management role within the renewable energy, solar, battery storage, or related clean technology industry, preferably gained in large-scale, multinational, or high-growth enterprises.

Ø Demonstrated experience in executing regional marketing strategies and adapting global brand positioning to local market conditions.

Ø Proven track record in market research, competitor analysis, channel development, and product launch support within technically driven industries.

Ø Hands-on experience in planning and coordinating trade exhibitions, dealer conferences, and industry events, including pre-event planning and post-event evaluation.

Ø Experience working within cross-border or multinational corporate structures, liaising with Headquarter teams and regional stakeholders.

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in Commerce, Marketing, Business Administration, International Business, or a related discipline is preferred.

Skills:

Ø Demonstrated capability in strategic marketing planning, campaign execution, and performance evaluation.

Ø Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data, identify trends, and provide commercially sound recommendations.

Ø Solid understanding of the Australian renewable energy market, including regulatory environment, installer networks, and distribution channels.

Ø Excellent project coordination and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously.

Ø High-level stakeholder engagement skills, including experience communicating with distributors, business partners, and senior management.

Ø Excellent bilingual communication skills (English and Mandarin), with strong written and verbal presentation abilities to support cross-regional collaboration.

Ø Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and familiarity with CRM systems, digital marketing platforms, and data analysis tools.

Commitment: Ability to commit to a full-time role for at least two (2) years, due to the long-term nature of market development, brand establishment, and channel expansion activities in the Australian and APAC markets.

Willingness and ability to undertake frequent business travel, interstate and internationally within the APAC region, including participation in exhibitions, market visits, and commercial business development activities as required by the company.
