Salary: $80,000 plus 12% Superannuation
Our client, Wijaya Nuclear Medicine Pty Limited is a nationally accredited diagnostic imaging provider dedicated to delivering comprehensive nuclear medicine services to the Greater South-West Sydney community. The practice offers a wide range of advanced diagnostic procedures, including bone densitometry, myocardial perfusion, cerebral perfusion, thyroid and renal scans, and other nuclear medicine investigations.
As the practice continues to expand its clinical services and strengthen referral networks, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Primary Health Organisation Manager to provide strategic leadership, operational oversight, and excellence in patient-focused care. This role is integral to ensuring the ongoing growth, compliance, and reputation of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide overall leadership and direction for the organisation, ensuring the delivery of high-quality diagnostic imaging services.
• Develop, implement, and monitor operational procedures, policies, and clinical governance standards.
• Coordinate and administer health service programs, ensuring efficiency and optimal patient outcomes.
• Manage administrative operations, including budget planning, financial reporting, and resource allocation.
• Oversee recruitment, training, performance management, and supervision of medical, allied health, and administrative staff.
• Foster and maintain strong referral networks with general practitioners, specialists, and other healthcare providers.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare accreditation, workplace health and safety, and all statutory and regulatory obligations.
• Drive service expansion and business growth through the development of new services and potential expansion into additional locations.
• Represent the organisation in stakeholder meetings, professional forums, and negotiations.
• Monitor and evaluate service performance, implementing continuous improvement strategies.
• Liaise with external health and welfare providers, funding bodies, and regulatory authorities to ensure cooperation and coordination of services.
Qualifications & Skills:
• A relevant qualification equivalent to an AQF Bachelor’s degree or higher in Health Administration, Business Management, or a related field.
• Minimum three years of full-time experience in health services management or a related sector. Experience in diagnostic imaging, clinical operations, or healthcare administration will be highly regarded.
• Strong leadership and organisational management skills, with proven ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams.
• Demonstrated expertise in financial and operational planning.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with patients, staff, and healthcare professionals.
• Sound knowledge of healthcare compliance, accreditation requirements, and governance frameworks.
• Strategic thinking, problem-solving ability, and business development acumen.
• Capacity to oversee clinical and administrative functions to deliver patient-centred, efficient, and innovative healthcare services.
