Job description

Position Information:

As part of our tutoring services, we provide quality education to students from Year 1 till Year 12. Currently, we are looking for tutors for Primary classes - Year 1 and Year 6 for following subjects:

1. English

2. English NAPLAN Preparation

3. English OC / Selective exam preparation

4. Math

5. Math OC / Selective exam preparation

6.Thinking Skills OC / Selective exam preparation

Position requirements:

• Able to teach 1 to 1 and Group lessons
• Can provide face to face at Parramatta campus
• Able to understand students needs and tailor the teaching style and material as per students need
• Teaching regular weekly classes throughout the term and holiday courses during school holidays
• Delivering feedback and recommendations to students and parents on their progress.

Skills:

• A genuine passion for Teaching
• Previous Teachers from schools or part time teachers
• University students completed HSC with 90+ ATAR
• Must have completed primary and HSC in NSW and excellent ATAR
• Senior Teachers having Primary marking, NAPLAN, OC and Selective preparation experience
• Highly developed organisational, interpersonal and communication skills demonstrated by the ability to work flexibly and build positive, collaborative relationships with students, staff, parents, and the community
• Strong classroom management skills and well being practices with the capacity to cater for a diverse range of students
• Completed their tertiary qualifications in a related discipline
• Have a good knowledge of the current Board of Studies curriculum respective subjects
• Part-time hours: 1-10 per week

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary, Subcontract

Salary: Negotiable for the right candidate (as per experience and class strength)
