Key Responsibilities

Operational & Leadership

Oversee the daily operations of the medical centre, ensuring smooth workflow and efficient service delivery.

Lead, support, and manage reception and nursing staff, fostering a positive and productive workplace culture.

Develop and implement policies, procedures, and systems in line with Kripa Health Pty Ltd standards and RACGP accreditation requirements.

Monitor and report on clinic performance, patient flow, and staff utilisation.

Liaise with doctors, allied health professionals, and external stakeholders to maintain high-quality patient care.

Financial & Administrative Management

Manage accounts receivable/payable, staff payroll coordination, and financial reporting.

Ensure Medicare billing compliance and oversee reconciliation of payments.

Assist with budgeting, cost control, and resource allocation to maintain financial sustainability.

Monitor stock levels, equipment, and supplies, ensuring timely ordering and effective cost management.

Human Resources & Compliance

Coordinate staff recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management.

Ensure compliance with workplace legislation, WorkSafe requirements, and employment law.

Maintain staff rosters and leave schedules to ensure adequate clinic coverage.

Manage grievances, workplace issues, and staff wellbeing.

Patient Experience & Quality Improvement

Ensure an excellent standard of patient service and address patient feedback or complaints professionally.

Oversee patient recalls, reminders, and health promotion activities.

Coordinate quality improvement activities, incident reporting, and risk management processes.

Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical and legal standards at all times.

Experience/Qualifications Required

Previous experience in practice management within a general practice or healthcare environment.

Strong knowledge of Medicare billing, medical software (Best Practice/Medical Director, etc.), and accreditation requirements.

Demonstrated leadership and people management skills.

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational abilities.

Qualification in Health Administration, Business Management, or equivalent (desirable but not essential).

Core Duties

Manage day-to-day operations of the practice.

Supervise and support staff performance and development.

Oversee financial processes, payroll coordination, and billing compliance.

Implement and monitor policies, infection control, and accreditation compliance.

Ensure outstanding patient experience and operational efficiency.

Salary

$80,000 – $90,000 per year (Above Award, depending on experience) + benefits
