We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Power Technical Operations Lead - East to join us in our Operations and Maintenance team in Brisbane on a full time permanent basis. Reporting to the Head of Power Operations East, you will play a key role in overseeing the operations and maintenance technical performance for the East Coast Power Assets. Working with a team of professionals, ensuring that the region’s energy infrastructure operates efficiently and safely, and maintenance activities are carried out effectively. Key Responsibilities Assist in implementing asset plans and strategies to ensure that the higher-level power strategy is translated successfully. Facilitate Technical Risk Reviews and monitor overall risk levels Assist the planning and facilitation of Technical Audit programs such as HAZOPs Assist with the review of Incident, Trip Reports and Investigation, Engage with OEM and key stakeholders to manage technical asset issues, concerns, and disputes. Your background Relevant tertiary qualification in engineering. Chartered Professional Engineers Australia certification or eligibility. Extensive operation and maintenance experience with Power Assets, ideally with Gas and Steam Turbines. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Strong communication skills to coordinate operations and maintenance activities effectively.
