We have an opening for the following roles based in Greater Western Sydney, near Greendale

50 casual poultry processing workers to work across our client’s egg grading facilities and farms.

Key Responsibilities:
• Poultry Care: Ensure the daily nutrition, health, and welfare of poultry
• Farm Operations: Perform essential tasks like feeding, cleaning, maintenance, and operating farm machinery. Maintain the production conveyor belt, conduct maintenance repairs where required.
• Egg Collection & Grading: Collect, grade, and transport eggs efficiently
• General Duties: Assist with egg collection/packing, facility upkeep, and sterilise equipment to maintain cleanliness and biosecurity.
• Safety & Compliance: Follow WHS and biosecurity protocols, contributing to a safe work environment.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of egg production, grading, and bird health.
• Work Schedule: Flexible availability including weekends.

Requirements:
• Ability to work flexible rosters including weekends
• No contact with chickens or pigs at home.
• Full Australian work rights.
• Physical capability to work in a demanding environment.

Approximate commencement dates are early January 2026 and the contract lasts 6 months.

The farm operates 24/7. You may be required to work any day of the week and at any hour of the day.
Your will receive $31.09 per hour plus penalties where applicable as per the Farm Pride North Pty Ltd Greendale Enterprise Agreement 2019.

You will receive a minimum of 120 hours per 4 weeks worked (an average of at least 30 hours per week).

You must perform such additional duties and responsibilities as required from time to time providing they are within your skills, training, education and experience. There will be potential to upskill and training is provided.
You do not have to be an Australian citizen to apply for this work, but you will need to be on a valid working Visa.

Successful candidates must complete a Quarantine Declaration and agree to the biosecurity measures which include:
- prohibited from ownership of any type of avian species (e.g. no poultry or birds of any type), or pigs.
- prohibited from contact with other poultry, non-poultry bird species, and pigs.
