Our free-range meat bird facility located in Northam WA, is currently seeking applicants for a full time Poultry Farm Managers role to start immediately.
The successful applicant will be responsible for but not limited to the following tasks:
• Daily animal checks
• Monitor welfare and production quality
• Record keeping meeting obligations and compliance
• Ensuring biosecurity, health and safety, and animal welfare procedures are always adhered to
• Managing staff to enhance farm performance
• Rotary hoeing
• Cleaning and sanitizing of equipment
• General farm maintenance
To be considered for this role you must
• Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a poultry farm manager
• Tertiary qualifications in poultry husbandry, is preferred
• Have a passion for animal husbandry
• Machinery knowledge
• Be self-motivated
• Have a proven reliable work history
• Flexibility with working hours to suit operational needs of the farm
• Have a current drivers license and own reliable transport
Salary package $70,000 - $76,600. Salary Package will reflect the applicants experience in the Poultry Industry and housing requirements.
