We are seeking a reliable and responsible Postal Van Driver to deliver mail and parcels to residential and business addresses. The ideal candidates will ensure timely and secure deliveries while maintaining a high standard of customer service and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, sort, and load mail and packages into the delivery van.

• Drive a designated route to deliver mail and parcels to homes and businesses.

• Obtain signatures for tracked or registered items as required.

• Return undelivered mail and report delivery issues.

• Follow all traffic laws and company safety procedures at all times.

• Represent Australia Post in a professional and courteous manner.

• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle checks and report any defects.

• Occasionally assist in the sorting office during quieter delivery periods.

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record.

• Ability to lift and carry bulky items.

• Strong time management and organisational skills.

• Good numeracy and literacy skills.

• Flexible with working hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.

• Must pass police check.

• Must pass urine based Drug & Alcohol screen.
