About the Position:
As a Retail Pharmacist at Care N Chemist, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional healthcare services to our diverse community. Your primary purpose is to ensure safe and effective medication management while providing expert advice to customers on health and wellness. This role is integral to upholding our reputation for trusted, personalised care, working closely with a dedicated team to support Fairlight residents, from young families to retirees, in achieving optimal health outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with Australian pharmacy regulations.
Provide professional health advice and consultations for minor ailments, chronic conditions, and preventive care.
Manage inventory, including ordering and stock control, to ensure availability of essential medications and products.
Collaborate with local healthcare professionals to support integrated patient care.
Deliver exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries and building lasting relationships with clients.
Administer vaccinations and support health programs like smoking cessation or weight management.
Maintain accurate records and adhere to all legal and ethical pharmacy standards.
Requirements:
Australian citizens and permanent residents are strongly encouraged to apply.
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from a recognised institution.
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a registered pharmacist.
Strong technical skills, including proficiency in dispensing software and knowledge of PBS regulations.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, build rapport with diverse customers, and work collaboratively in a team environment.
