TERMI Home & Commercial (QLD) is currently recruiting for Trainees or Qualified Pest Control Technicians to join our team servicing our clients in the Brisbane, Ipswich, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast ares.

Tasks include the following:

Inspection of commercial, industrial and residential premises and surrounds to assess pest activity, pest identification and the extent of any infestation and damage

Developing of pest management plans considering pest biology and behaviour, as well as the potential impact on health, safety and infrastructure

Evaluation of the need for pest management, and implement suitable treatment plans and methods

Working with clients to provide recommendations for building maintenance and hygiene activities to prevent pests

Application of non-chemical solutions and pesticides to manage and minimise the risk of pest infestations, health risks and diseases

Operating and maintenance of electric, pneumatic and mechanical equipment such as cameras, drones and other technology to monitor and report on pest infestations

Use of traps, baits and other pest control devices to capture and remove pests

Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of pest management activities

Reading, interpretation and preparation of plans, and selecting materials to devise and install pest management systems

Installation of termite barriers into both domestic and commercial buildings within the building and construction industry.

Conducting timber pest inspections and advising on and managing appropriate treatment

What we need from you:

A current and valid Australian driver's licence

The demonstration of excellent customer service skills to manage, maintain, and build upon client relationships

General pest licence and/or Timber Pest Licence highly regarded

Good English verbal skills & a passion for customer service

What to expect from us:

A competitive base Salary ranging from $73,000 to $90,000
