The Role
We’re looking for a proactive and highly organised Personal Assistant to support our General Manager of Development. In this pivotal role, you’ll provide comprehensive administrative support, ensuring the department operates smoothly and professionally. You’ll be at the centre of a dynamic technology environment, managing diaries, coordinating meetings, handling correspondence, and supporting senior leaders to maintain seamless operations.
Key Accountabilities
- Provide end-to-end administrative support to the General Manager of Development and the wider Leadership Team.
- Organise diaries, manage inboxes, and maintain to-do lists for senior leaders.
- Prepare and compile correspondence, reports, and presentation materials.
- Coordinate internal and external meetings, including accurate minute-taking and timely distribution of papers.
- Create and process purchase orders, reconcile invoices, and manage vendor invoicing.
- Track Reward & Recognition budgets and oversee registers for licensed software platforms.
- Support staff reporting, training compliance, and employee engagement programs.
- Coordinate team events and employee engagement activities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with leaders across the business, acting as a trusted point of contact for the GM.
- Ensure timely communication and escalation of risk and compliance matters, including APRA-related requirements.
Risk & Compliance
This role contributes directly to A&G’s commitment to strong risk management and compliance. You’ll:
- Learn and support the implementation of APRA prudential standards and guidelines.
- Assist with identifying, assessing, and escalating operational and financial risks.
- Contribute to compliance monitoring and reporting.
- Ensure the GM of Development is across risk and compliance correspondence in a timely manner.

- Understanding technical terminology to effectively support leaders.
About You
You’ll bring:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Personal Assistant or in a similar role supporting a management team.
- Strong diary management and organisational skills, with proven ability to juggle multiple tasks.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with attention to detail.
- Confidence working with senior stakeholders at all levels.
- High proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
- Financial process experience, including accounts receivable.
- A proactive approach to solving problems and streamlining admin processes.
- (Highly regarded) Experience leveraging AI tools to optimise workflow.
- (Highly desirable) Exposure to IT/Cloud environments or large enterprise/financial services organisations.
