We are currently seeking a Full Time Enrolled Nurse to join our friendly team. This opportunity will allow you to demonstrate your clinical skills within an organisation that values collaborative teamwork in a family focused environment to provide the best care for our residents.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
Clinical Care & Nursing Practice
• Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care in line with EN scope of practice.
• Perform comprehensive nursing tasks as delegated by the Registered Nurse, including:
o Vital signs monitoring and clinical observations
o Wound care and pressure injury prevention and management
o Continence assessment and management
o Pain assessment and escalation of concerns
o Catheter care and basic clinical procedures
• Administer medications in accordance with legislation, facility policy, and individual competency assessment.
• Identify, document, and promptly escalate any deterioration in a resident’s condition to the Registered Nurse or Residential Care Manager.
Care Planning & Documentation
• Contribute to the development, implementation, and review of resident care plans.
• Accurately document all care provided, observations, and incidents in clinical systems.
• Support AN-ACC requirements through timely and accurate clinical documentation.
Resident-Centred Care
• Provide care that respects residents’ rights, preferences, cultural backgrounds, and individual needs.
• Support residents with activities of daily living as required, promoting independence where possible.
• Engage positively with residents and families to support wellbeing and continuity of care.
Infection Prevention & Safety
• Adhere to infection prevention and control protocols at all times.
• Follow WHS policies to ensure a safe environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
• Participate in outbreak management procedures as required.
Collaboration & Teamwork
• Work collaboratively with Registered Nurses, Personal Care Workers, Allied health professionals and support staff.
• Provide guidance and support to Personal Care Workers within delegated scope.
• Participate in handovers, care reviews, and multidisciplinary discussions.
Quality, Compliance & Professional Development
• Comply with the Aged Care Quality Standards, organisational policies, and legislative requirements.
• Participate in mandatory training, competency assessments, and continuous professional development.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and accreditation readiness.
Essential Requirements:
• Current AHPRA Nursing registration
• At least 12 months Experience in the capacity of an Enrolled Nurse
• Current National Police Check (or Willingness to obtain).
• Demonstrated ability to operate independently and professionally
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Evidence of right to work in Australia
• Demonstrated genuine desire to provision of care to frail and aged people
• Ability to effectively communicate in written and oral English
