About the role:

You will be responsible for leading a team of 3 who process the pays for 2500 employees. Your duties will include:

• Lead and oversee all payroll operations
• Ensure all pay run activities are executed in accordance with legislative, regulatory and award requirements (including tax, superannuation, STP) with strict adherence to timing and accuracy
• Implement and deliver pay compliance reporting
• Coach and mentor direct reports to deliver best practice payroll and foster a culture of continuous improvement
• Lead and coach performance, development, and day-to-day operations for the payroll team
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders

About you:

You are an experienced Payroll Team Leader with exceptional people leadership skills. In addition, you have:

• 2+ years of experience in a leadership position
• 5+ years experience with end-to-end payroll
• Experience working on a medium - large payroll
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Full and unlimited Australian working rights
