The successful candidate will provide essential back-up payroll support for a team managing 120 employees. This is a critical role to ensure business continuity, particularly around managing manual payroll adjustments. The role is a 6-month contract, fully remote, and requires a dedicated and experienced professional.

The first month requires full-time hours (38 hours per week), transitioning to a likely 2-3 days per week (depending on business requirements).

• Process fortnightly payroll for approximately 120 employees.
• Manage and process manual payroll adjustments, including Flexi-time, Salary Sacrifice, and Novated Leases, etc.
• Ensure accurate interpretation and application of Enterprise Agreements (EA).
• Maintain payroll system integrity and compliance.
• Work independently to manage and complete all assigned payroll tasks.

• Proven experience as a Payroll Officer, with strong knowledge of payroll processes and adjustments.
• Demonstrated experience with TechOne payroll system (highly regarded)
• Strong understanding and ability to interpret Enterprise Agreements (EA).
• A self-starter who can quickly pick up new processes and work independently and autonomously.
