We are seeking an experienced and meticulous Senior Payroll Officer to join our client on a 6-month, part-time contract (0.6 FTE), starting ASAP. What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)

• Process payrolls accurately and on time for all employees.

• Ensure strict compliance with the Fair Work Act and relevant industrial instruments.

• Liase with the ATO regarding PAYG withholding and other statutory requirements.

• Assist with end-of-year payroll processes, including payment summaries and reconciliations.

• Maintain accurate payroll records and confidential employee data with the utmost discretion.

What You'll Bring (Essential Skills & Experience)

To succeed in this crucial role, candidates must possess the following non-negotiable requirements:

• Proven, hands-on experience with Micropay is absolutely essential.

• Relevant Certification in Payroll or equivalent, extensive experience.

• Strong, up-to-date knowledge of Australian payroll legislation (including award interpretation, superannuation, and taxation).

• A meticulous eye for detail and exceptional data accuracy skills.
