Payroll/HR Officer for a market-leading organisation in North Ryde

This organisation is a market leader in delivering innovative solutions to the building and construction industry. They are currently seeking a dedicated Payroll/HR Officer to join their team on a permanent basis.Your new role
In this role, you will:

  • Process end-to-end payroll including superannuation, leave entitlements and various deductions.
  • Ensure employee data is up-to-date and compliant with policies and legislation
  • Calculate and process termination payments, including redundancy entitlements
  • Reconcile payroll data with financial records and assist finance with reporting and audits
  • Support HR administration tasks such as onboarding, contract preparation, and maintaining employee records
  • Monitor secondments, visa expiry dates, temporary contracts, and probation reviews
  • Provide HR guidance to staff and managers on policies, procedures, and entitlements
  • Maintain and enhance the HRIS to ensure accurate data and system reliability
What you'll need to succeed
  • Proven experience in payroll processing and HR administration
  • Strong attention to detail with effective problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in using payroll software
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team
