This organisation is a market leader in delivering innovative solutions to the building and construction industry. They are currently seeking a dedicated Payroll/HR Officer to join their team on a permanent basis.Your new role
In this role, you will:
- Process end-to-end payroll including superannuation, leave entitlements and various deductions.
- Ensure employee data is up-to-date and compliant with policies and legislation
- Calculate and process termination payments, including redundancy entitlements
- Reconcile payroll data with financial records and assist finance with reporting and audits
- Support HR administration tasks such as onboarding, contract preparation, and maintaining employee records
- Monitor secondments, visa expiry dates, temporary contracts, and probation reviews
- Provide HR guidance to staff and managers on policies, procedures, and entitlements
- Maintain and enhance the HRIS to ensure accurate data and system reliability
- Proven experience in payroll processing and HR administration
- Strong attention to detail with effective problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in using payroll software
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team
